Egg Tomato "Fly Agaric"

Ingredients

  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • mayonnaise
  • lettuce leaves
  • Watercress

Instructions

    Wash, dry, and slice lettuce into strips. Arrange on four small plates.

  2. 2.

    Peel the eggs and place them on the prepared plates. Wash the tomatoes, halve them, seed with a small spoon, and set as fly-agaric heads atop the eggs. Fill a small squeeze bottle with mayonnaise and decorate the eggs with tiny dots.

    Use small quail eggs and cherry tomatoes to mimic little fly-agarics.

  4. 4.

    Arrange on a platter with garden watercress.
