Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • Salt
  • 2 large slices Tramezzino bread
  • 2 leaves Batavia lettuce
  • 2 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp softened butter
  • 4 tbsp chive rolls

Instructions

    Hard boil the eggs, cool and peel. Cut in half, remove yolks and finely chop whites. Mix yolks with mayonnaise and crème fraîche until smooth. Season with vinegar and salt, then fold in chopped whites. Spread salad onto one slice of Tramezzino bread. Wash, dry, and tear lettuce into small pieces; sprinkle over the salad and top with cheese.

    Thinly spread butter on the second slice of bread, sprinkle chives on top. Place this slice over the filling, press lightly, cut into 8-10 pieces. Serve secured with wooden skewers.
