Ingredients

  • 125 g soft butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs (medium size)
  • 100 ml egg liqueur
  • 5 tbsp mineral water
  • 200 g Flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 75 g chocolate chips

    Cream the butter. Gradually fold in sugar, eggs, egg liqueur, and water. Mix flour with cornstarch and baking powder, then sift over the wet mixture and stir quickly. Finally fold in the chocolate chips.

    Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan (about 20 cm long) and smooth the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (gas: level 2-3, convection: 160°C) for 50-60 minutes.
