Ingredients

  • 500 g porcini mushrooms

    Clean the mushrooms, i.e., cut about 1 cm off the stem end and remove any bad spots.

    Wipe the mushrooms gently with a dry kitchen towel and slice them into thin pieces about 0.5 cm thick.

    Set the oven to 50°C fan mode and arrange the mushroom slices side by side on the rack. Place in the oven. Keep the oven door slightly ajar using a cooking spoon and let the mushrooms dry for about 3 hours.

    The mushrooms should be dry and firm. Store them in an airtight glass jar.
