Cucumber Buttermilk Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 handfuls mint
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 600 ml buttermilk
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Wash the cucumber, cut about a quarter into sticks and set aside. Dice the remaining cucumber roughly. Peel the garlic cloves. Rinse the mint and reserve about one handful. Add the remaining mint with thoroughly washed spinach to the blender. Add the cucumber sticks, garlic, and buttermilk, then blend until smooth. If desired, mix in cold water to reach the preferred consistency, season with salt and pepper, and pour into glasses.
