Crumb Cake with Grapes

Ingredients

  • 250 g soft butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200 g Flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 0.5 packet Baking powder
  • 250 g fresh green grapes
  • 175 g flour
  • 100 g liquid butter
  • 100 g sugar

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 200°C. Whisk butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy. Add lemon zest and salt. Sift flour, cornstarch and baking powder into the mixture and fold in.

    Grease a pan. Pour dough into a 26 cm springform. Wash grapes, halve and seed them; arrange on top of the cake.

    For the crumble sift flour into a bowl, add liquid butter and sugar, then work with hands until crumbly. Sprinkle over the cake and bake 45 minutes at medium rack until golden brown.
