Cream Cheese Salmon Sandwiches as Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 handful chives
  • 150 g smoked salmon (sliced)
  • 8 slices toast bread
  • 200 g goat cream cheese (or regular cream cheese)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Salt
  • white pepper

Instructions

    Rinse the chives, shake dry and cut into fine ribbons. Dice the salmon finely.

    Toast the bread lightly in a toaster until just browned. Remove and place four slices on the work surface.

    Whisk the cream cheese with lemon juice and milk, seasoning with a little salt and pepper.

    Spread about half of the mixture onto the toast slices. Distribute the salmon over it and sprinkle with about half of the chives. Place the remaining toast slices on top and cut each into quarters to create mini sandwiches.

    Thinly spread the remaining cream cheese on the tops and garnish with chives before serving.
