Ingredients

  • 500 g heart cherries (with stems)
  • 250 ml cognac
  • 600 g white couverture chocolate
  • 100 g coconut flakes

Instructions

    Wash cherries gently, leave stems intact, drain, place in a bowl, pour cognac over them, cover and refrigerate for 14 days. The cherries must always remain covered with cognac.

    Drain the cherries and pat them dry thoroughly.

    Melt the couverture slowly in a double boiler. Hold the dried cherries by their stems and dip them into the chocolate. Place on a cooling rack or parchment paper to set briefly, sprinkle with coconut flakes, and allow to dry.
