Chocolate Yogurt Muffins

Spoonsparrow chocolate yogurt muffins: chopped dark chocolate provides a wonderful aroma while yogurt keeps the mini cakes especially moist!

Ingredients

  • 120 g softened butter
  • 120 g cane sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g flour
  • 80 g dark chocolate
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 300 g Yogurt (3.5% fat)

Instructions

    Cream butter with sugar, beat in the egg, then stir in flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and yogurt until the dry ingredients are just wet; fold in chopped chocolate.

    Line paper cups into muffin tin slots, fill with batter, bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes. Check with a toothpick, remove muffins, let cool slightly, then take them out of the tin and allow to cool completely.
