Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

Try the delicious cookies with chocolate drops from Spoonsparrow. Hazelnuts provide brain food in this sweet snack.

Ingredients

  • 140 g softened butter
  • 100 g raw cane sugar
  • 50 g powdered raw cane sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 350 g spelt flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 100 g chopped hazelnuts
  • 200 g chocolate drops (from dark chocolate)

Instructions

    Cream the butter with raw cane sugar and powdered sugar. Beat in the eggs. Mix spelt flour with baking powder, salt, and cinnamon; fold into the butter mixture. Finally stir in hazelnuts and chocolate drops.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the sheet, spacing them apart. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (160 °C fan or gas: level 2–3) for about 15–17 minutes.
