Ingredients

  • 300 g almonds
  • 150 g dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 100 g cocoa powder
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • a pinch of cloves
  • 0.125 l cold espresso

Instructions

    Add the almonds and chopped chocolate to a food processor with a blade attachment and pulse until finely chopped, then add the remaining ingredients and continue blending for 2-3 minutes. Transfer the mixture onto a work surface and knead into a smooth dough.

    Shape the dough into a long log and divide it into about 60 pieces. Line 2-3 baking sheets with parchment paper and form each piece into coin shapes. Place them on the trays with some space between each. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 160°C fan-forced for about 12–15 minutes, cool on a wire rack, and serve with wine or coffee.
