The chocolate banana shake with chickpeas from Spoonsparrow - A vegan energy boost!
Ingredients
- 50 g chickpeas (canned; drained weight)
- 150 g Bananas (1 banana)
- 2 tbsp ground hazelnuts (30 g)
- 50 g rolled oats
- 1 tsp flaxseed meal
- 1 tsp hazelnut spread
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (15 g; low fat)
- 400 ml oat drink (oat milk)
Instructions

Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Peel and chop the banana. Set aside 4 banana slices and some ground hazelnuts.

Combine all ingredients with rolled oats, flaxseed, hazelnut spread, hazelnuts, cocoa and oat drink in a blender and puree finely. Fill the chocolate banana shake with chickpeas into 2 glasses and serve garnished with banana slices and ground hazelnuts.
