Ingredients

  • 600 g turkey breast fillet
  • 2 green chili peppers (mild)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cornmeal
  • 400 ml Poultry broth
  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • 250 g canned white beans
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

    Rinse the turkey breast, pat dry and cut into cubes. Wash, halve, deseed, and finely chop the chili peppers. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic.

    Brown the meat in 1-2 tbsp oil, then remove it from the pot. Add another 1-2 tbsp oil to the pot and sauté the onions, chili, and garlic briefly. Dust with cornmeal and deglaze with broth. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened; add more broth if needed. Pour in the cream, return the meat and drained beans, and let simmer quietly for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve garnished with parsley.
