Chicken thighs with garlic, lemon and thyme are a delicious recipe from Spoonsparrow.
Ingredients
- 1 untreated organic lemon
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 3 onions
- 4 chicken thighs (about 300 g each)
- Salt
- black pepper
- Sweet Paprika Powder
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 200 ml dry white wine
- 200 ml chicken broth
- 0.5 bunch thyme

Rinse the lemon, grate it dry and slice into thin wedges. Peel and crush the garlic cloves. Peel the onions and cut them lengthwise in half or quarters.

Wash the chicken thighs, pat them dry, split at the joint, season with salt, pepper and paprika, then brown them all over in a hot pan with oil. Remove and set aside. Add the onions, garlic and lemon to the pan. Sauté while turning occasionally, deglaze with wine and chicken broth, season again, return the meat and thyme, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (160 °C fan; gas: level 2–3) for about 30–35 minutes.
