Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 125 ml Noilly Prat
  • 125 ml poultry broth
  • 4 Carrots

Instructions

    Peel the onions and cut them into wedges. Wash the chicken thighs, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper.

    Brown the chicken thighs in hot oil in a roasting pan until browned on all sides. Add the onions and sauté briefly. Add thyme, Noilly Prat, and broth. Roast in a preheated oven at 200°C (lower rack) for about 20 minutes.

    Wash, peel, and cut the carrots into bite-sized pieces; add them to the thighs and roast for an additional 20 minutes.
