Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp goat cream cheese
  • 1 tsp chives
  • 4 Sage leaves
  • 20 g mozzarella
  • 2 slices Parma ham
  • 1 tbsp pickled bell pepper strips (jar)
  • 10 g basil

Instructions

    Wash and pat the chicken breasts dry. Preheat the oven to 180°C with fan and top heat. Lightly oil a baking dish with 1 tbsp olive oil.

    For the first variation mix chili sauce, ginger, and garlic; brush this over the chicken. Coat in sesame seeds and place in the baking dish.

    Make a pocket in each of the remaining chicken breasts.

    For the second variation combine goat cream cheese with chives, season with salt and pepper, and fill the pockets.

    For the third variation finely chop sage leaves and dice mozzarella. Fill the pockets with both, then wrap the chicken with Parma ham.

    For the final variation pat the pickled bell pepper strips dry and add them with basil leaves to the pocket. Secure all three filled breasts with toothpicks, season with salt and pepper, and place in the baking dish. Drizzle with remaining olive oil and bake for about 30 minutes. Slice and serve.
