Chicken Drumsticks with Mushrooms

- 16 chicken drumsticks
- 4 tbsp plant oil
- 3 tbsp mustard
- 4 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 300 ml poultry stock
- 500 g fresh button mushrooms
- 250 g freshly grated cheese (e.g., Gouda)

Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat. Wash, pat dry the chicken drumsticks and place them in a bowl with the remaining ingredients. Mix well and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Then transfer to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, brushing with the sauce repeatedly.

During baking pour some poultry stock as needed. Meanwhile clean the mushrooms and add them. Stir the remaining sauce with the rest of the broth and add it too. Sprinkle the drumsticks with cheese, raise the oven temperature to 220°C, and gratinate the chicken for an additional 5-10 minutes.
