Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 200 g celery root
- 2 parsley roots
- 25 g butter
- 200 g unsweetened chestnut cream (Reformhaus)
- 600 ml chicken broth
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Salt
- pepper (from grinder)
- 2 fresh chestnuts
- 200 ml whipping cream

Peel and dice onions, celery root, and parsley roots. Heat butter in a large pot and sauté the vegetables with the onions. Add the chestnut cream and chicken broth, season with cinnamon, salt, and pepper, and simmer for about 15 minutes over low heat.

Meanwhile, peel, chop, and roast the fresh chestnuts in a dry pan. Blend the soup until smooth, pour in the cream, and bring to a brief boil. Taste and serve in soup bowls, garnishing with roasted chestnuts.
