  • 1 kg cherries
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 400 ml red wine

    Wash and pit the cherries. Peel the lemon zest, then bring together with the sugar, cinnamon stick, and red wine to a boil.
