- 1 kg cherries
- 1 untreated lemon
- 100 g sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 400 ml red wine

Wash and pit the cherries. Peel the lemon zest, then bring together with the sugar, cinnamon stick, and red wine to a boil.
