Ingredients

  • 400 g sliced cheese (e.g., Madrigal Président)
  • 200 g tomatoes
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 50 g butter (sliced)
  • 8 eggs
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 red chili peppers
  • paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp chives rolls

    Preheat oven to 200°C. Grease four fireproof ramekins. Cube the cheese and distribute in the ramekins. Wash, core, and cube the tomatoes. Clean, wash, peel, and cube the bell pepper. Spread both over the cheese, add half of the butter on top, and bake on the upper rack for 12 minutes.

    Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pour over the tomato-cheese mixture. Place one chili pepper in each ramekin. Add remaining butter and sprinkle with paprika powder. Bake another 12-15 minutes until the surface is golden brown. Garnish with chives rolls.
