Ingredients

  • 400 g Gouda (200 g aged + 200 g young)
  • 100 g Leerdammer or Emmentaler
  • 250 g dry white wine
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp starch
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 200 g cooked ham (chunked)
  • 1 baguette
  • 100 g mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp chives
  • 250 g strawberries

Instructions

    Cut the cheese into small cubes. Mix cheese, wine, lemon juice and starch in a fondue pot and melt over medium heat while stirring; season with salt and pepper.

    Cube the ham into bite‑sized pieces. Cut the baguette into small chunks. Clean the mushrooms and cut them according to size – halves, quarters or whole if preferred.

    Wash, dry and optionally slice the strawberries smaller. Arrange all prepared ingredients on a platter. Place the cheese pot over a warm source and sprinkle with chives.
