Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 4 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 400 g ground beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 burger buns
  • 100 g Brie

Instructions

    Peel the onions and cut them into rings. In a hot pan, slowly brown the onion rings in 2 tbsp oil for about 10 minutes with occasional stirring.

    Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, mix well, and shape into four patties. In a hot pan, cook each side of the patties for about 3-4 minutes in 2 tbsp hot oil.

    Preheat the oven to grill mode.

    Halve the buns horizontally and toast the cut sides under the hot grill. Slice the cheese into rounds. Place one patty on each bun base, top with cheese, and melt under the grill. Add onion rings on top, place the bun tops, and serve immediately.

    Serve with potato chips if desired.
