Ingredients

  • 350 g rice
  • Salt
  • 4 Carrots
  • 1 leek stalk
  • 4 pork sausage links
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 red bell pepper halves
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • pepper (ground)
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 250 ml meat broth

Instructions

    Cook the rice according to package instructions in boiling salted water, drain and set aside. While the rice cooks, peel and slice the carrots. Trim the leek, removing dark green parts, cut into rings and rinse thoroughly. Slice the sausages. Wash and chop the tomatoes. Wash, halve, clean and slice the bell peppers. Preheat oven to 180 °C fan.

    Heat olive oil in a large pot, lightly brown the carrots, peppers, leeks and sausage slices. Add rice and tomatoes, season with salt, pepper, paprika powder and oregano. Transfer mixture to a baking dish, pour broth over it, and bake for about 35 minutes.
