Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients
- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 200 g cooked rice
- 1 onion
- 400 g mixed ground meat
- 1 egg
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- kitchen twine
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 200 ml vegetable broth
- 1 pinch sugar
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions

Clean the cabbage. Separate eight large leaves (cut the stem in a wedge shape) and blanch them in boiling salted water for about 1 minute, then remove and drain.

Lay two leaves overlapping on a work surface.

Finely chop the onion and mix with ground meat, rice, egg, salt, pepper, and cumin. Spread the mixture onto the cabbage leaves.

Fold the sides inward and roll up. Tie the rolls with kitchen twine. Heat oil in a pot and brown the rolls. Add diced onion, paprika powder, sugar, tomato paste, peeled garlic, pour in broth, add diced tomatoes, cover and simmer for about 40 minutes. Remove the rolls, discard the twine, arrange on a plate.

Strain the sauce, season with salt and pepper, and pour over the rolls.
