Ingredients

  • 300 g hard crust bread (or rye bread as substitute)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 onion (chopped)
  • 1 garlic clove (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp finely chopped leeks green
  • 150 g bacon
  • 1 potato
  • 200 g coarse buckwheat flour (black planet flour)
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1.

Cut the bread into small pieces and pour 1 cup of milk over it, let sit. Sauté onion and garlic in oil until translucent, then add to the dumpling bread. Mix in leeks green, diced bacon, and grated raw potato, finally combine with the buckwheat flour. If the mixture seems too dry, add a little more milk. Salt. Cook a test dumpling; if it falls apart, mix in a bit more flour.

  2. 2.

Shape 10 dumplings and simmer them in salted water for 15-20 minutes.
