Blueberry Chia Jam with Vanilla

The Blueberry-Chia Jam with Vanilla from Spoonsparrow contains very little sugar and can therefore be enjoyed without guilt!

Ingredients

  • 250 g blueberries
  • 15 g chia seeds (1.5 tbsp)
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 0.5 tsp ground vanilla

Instructions

    Wash the berries, place them in a pot and bring to a boil once. Then mash with a fork or puree as desired.

    Remove the pot from heat and let the fruit cool to lukewarm. Stir in chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla powder.

    Let the blueberry-chia jam with vanilla thicken for at least 30 minutes, then store either by pouring into a clean screw‑cap jar and refrigerating or freezing portioned servings.
