Beef Tenderloin with French Fries

Ingredients

  • 4 beef filet steaks (250 g each, well-aged)
  • coarse pepper
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Sea salt
  • 800 g French fries
  • frying oil
  • Salt
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • Watercress

Instructions

    Season the steaks with pepper, brush with oil and grill over medium heat for 3-5 minutes per side depending on desired doneness. Remove from grill, season with salt and serve immediately.

    Meanwhile fry the potatoes in hot oil until golden yellow, drain well and blot dry on kitchen paper.

    Lightly salt, arrange on plates with steaks, add a half tomato and some watercress to each plate, sprinkle with pepper and serve.
