Ingredients

  • 150 g onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 garlic clove (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp plant oil
  • 800 g veal fillet
  • 1.5 tbsp curry powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 l water
  • 1 tsp starch
  • 125 g crème fraîche
  • 0.5 bunch Parsley
  • 1 small can exotic fruits (e.g., mango, pineapple, cherry preserves etc.)

Instructions

    Sauté onions and garlic in oil. Add diced veal, brown well, sprinkle with curry powder and cumin, stir, and cook for another 3 minutes. Pour in water and simmer covered for about 45 minutes over low heat.

    Finish by thickening the goulash with a slurry of starch mixed in cold water. Drain the fruits well. Wash and finely chop parsley. Stir in crème fraîche, fold in the fruits, warm for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with parsley before serving.
