A hearty beef and vegetable stir‑fry featuring fresh green beans, sweet corn, and a zesty citrus‑soy glaze from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 500 g beef (from the flank)
  • 250 g green beans
  • Salt
  • 2 red onions
  • 200 g canned corn
  • 2 tbsp chili oil
  • 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

    Rinse the beef and pat dry. Slice into ~1 cm thick strips. Wash, trim the green beans, and blanch in salted water for about 6 minutes; cool under cold water and drain.

    Peel the onions and cut into wedges. Drain the corn well. Sauté the onions in hot oil for 2–3 minutes. Add the beef and cook together for another 2–3 minutes.

    Fold in the green beans and corn, cooking for 1–2 more minutes until heated through. Season with soy sauce and lemon juice, then serve.
