Ingredients
- 250 g rice
- 1 onion
- 4 tbsp peanut oil
- Salt
- 1 large ripe cooking banana

Add rice and 500 ml water to a pot, bring to a boil and simmer covered over low heat for about 20 minutes. Peel the onion, finely chop it, sauté in 1 tbsp oil, then mix with salt into the cooked rice.

Peel the banana and slice it. Heat the remaining oil and fry the slices until crisp, turning them several times. Place the fried banana slices on top of the finished rice before serving.
