Ingredients
- 350 g fresh Swiss chard
- 200 g alpine cheese
- 3 eggs
- 250 g flour
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper
- nutmeg
- flour (for the work surface and turning)
- 350 ml heavy cream (at least 30% fat)

Clean, wash, dry, trim hard stems, and chop Swiss chard leaves. Grate 150 g cheese and knead with eggs, chard, and flour. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, adding more flour if needed.

Using two tablespoons, cut dumplings; toss them in flour on a floured surface and boil in salted water. When they float, lift with a slotted spoon and drain well.
