Ingredients

  • 8 medium potatoes
  • olive oil
  • 8 slices Bergkäse cheese
  • 8 slices raw ham
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)

Instructions

    Halve the potatoes, place them cut side up in a large greased baking dish, season with salt and pepper, drizzle with olive oil, bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 35 minutes, then remove and let cool slightly.

    Cut the cheese and ham slices in half. Place one piece of cheese and ham loosely on each potato and sprinkle with pepper.

    Return the potatoes to the oven and broil until the cheese begins to melt.
