- 20 small hornfish (ca. 1.5 kg)
- Sea salt
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 6 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- oil for frying
- lemon zest for serving

Remove and wash the hornfish. Pat dry, lightly season inside and out with sea salt, and place in a shallow dish. Peel and finely chop the garlic, mix with lemon juice and olive oil, pour over the fish, cover, and let marinate for about 30 minutes.

Combine flour with paprika powder and cayenne pepper. Remove the fish from the mixture, coat each piece in the seasoned flour, then fry portions in hot oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Serve garnished with lemon slices.
