Ingredients
- 1.5 kg white asparagus
- Salz
- 1 pinch sugar
- 100 g butter
- 2 EL chopped herbs (e.g., parsley, basil, tarragon)
- Pfeffer (from grinder)
- 750 g small potatoes
- Salz
- 100 g ham bacon (thin slices)
- 2 EL oil
- wooden skewer
Instructions

Peel the asparagus and trim the ends. Cook in salted water with a pinch of sugar for 12-15 minutes.

Melt butter. Add herbs and season with salt and pepper.

Brush potatoes thoroughly, then boil with skins on in salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain, peel, wrap each potato with a bacon strip and secure with wooden skewers.

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the potatoes until crisp all around. Serve together with asparagus and herb butter.
