Ingredients

  • 125 g soft butter
  • 100 g whole cane sugar
  • 40 ml maple syrup
  • 5 drops vanilla aroma
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 90 g spelt flour type 630
  • 35 g spelt whole‑grain flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 75 g ground hazelnuts
  • 150 g dark chocolate chips

Instructions

    Cream the butter. Gradually add sugar, maple syrup, vanilla aroma, salt and egg, mixing well. Sift the flours and combine with baking soda. Stir in the hazelnuts. Finally fold in the chocolate chips.

    Place dough on two parchment‑lined trays with enough space between each portion using two teaspoons. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (gas: level 3, convection: 160°C) for 15–20 minutes until the cookies are lightly golden brown.
